Havant and Hayling Island
Hayling Island’s iconic beach huts, award-winning coastline and impressive amusement park have made it a popular tourist resort since the 1930’s. The seaside stretches five miles and is a haven for cyclists, walkers and sunbathers.
Watersports play an important role on the island, and it was here that windsurfing was created. There are several local watersport and boat hire companies offering some great options for team building days.
Local tourist attractions on Hayling Island include the Seaside Railway and a World War II Heritage Trail.
Nearby, the town of Havant is a thriving hive of activity with its Georgian buildings, narrow footpaths and popular twice weekly markets. The town dates from Roman times and much of its centre is now a conservation area.
Popular attractions in and around Havant include the award-winning Staunton Country Park, the picturesque fishing village of Emsworth and the historic Stansted Park estate.
The town has good transport networks and is close to the M27 motorway, making it easy for anyone attending a conference or event in the area.
