FARNBOROUGH’S NEW GASTROPUB, THE SWAN, PROVIDES A CHARMING BACKDROP FOR EVENTS AND PRIVATE DINNERS.

Located just minutes from Aviator, The Swan, exudes the charm of a traditional pub and adds a sleek, modern twist.

The menu serves up a variety of high quality, delicious dishes all made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Inside, a combination of exposed brick walls, cosy armchairs and open fires, means guests can sit back, and dine in a relaxed and warm environment.

Originally opened in 1861, The Swan continues to this day to be a well-loved local landmark. This charming building dates back to the 19th century, where it was a popular place for travellers to stop and refresh themselves and their horses as they travelled between Farnborough railway station, the Queen’s Hotel (now the Holiday Inn) and North Camp railway station.

Reopened in December, the newly refurbished interior embraces The Swan’s historic past, and with help from local historians and the nearby Farnborough Sixth Form College, key pieces of artwork and photography can now be seen throughout the gastropub.

In more recent years, The Swan has become a popular location during the biannualFarnborough International Airshow allowing guests spectacular views of the air displays.

The Swan makes a unique backdrop for those looking to host private dinners, meeting and events. The versatile event space can be used exclusively for functions for up to 100. Private functions for up to 70 will have access to their own section of the pub where they can enjoy a private bar and entrance.
